My First Muzzleloader Deer

Tonight Sam and I went deer hunting with one muzzleloader. (I only have one.) Sam carried the gun most of the evening. But once we were ready to start back towards the van I carried the gun. We had just walked 25-30 yd. when I spotted a deer shaped profile therough some brush. I tryed to penetrate the brush with my 50 caliber, but it didn't work. I went over and checked for blood. As I was close to the spot where the deer were when I first shot, I spotted a white flag disappearing some 50 yd away. I quickly loaded my gun again, and headed in that general direction. We spotted both of them standing broadside at about 75-100 yd. So I nailed the one that was closest. A nice young doe. Sorry, the pictures were out of focus.
